A 25+ year veteran of the direct marketing industry, Laurie specializes in outside list analysis and modeling.  Prior to joining Guideposts, Laurie managed offline and online programs at Consumer Reports, The Taunton Press, Synapse and Carol Wright Gifts.

Asya Takken holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Ph.D. in statistics.  For the past 5 years, she has worked in predictive modeling at Alliant, where she enjoys helping clients learn about their audiences and expanding their reach.   Her prior work experience includes yield modeling at IBM, B2B data analysis at Cisco, as well as teaching high school mathematics.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, and is looking forward to being able to resume travel.

Originally trained in mathematics and physics, I have been involved with information and communication technology since 1992. I joined Dataline in 2009 as a data scientist, to build predictive models of consumer behavior. I also teach as an adjunct professor of systems engineering at Virginia Tech, focusing on investment analysis and choice modeling.

Emma combines an education in advanced applied mathematics with a deep curiosity in the drivers and responses of consumer behavior, both simple and unexpected. With years of using established and innovative statistics to create predictive solutions for clients across markets, and with large companies like Epsilon, Seagate, Level 3, and Spectra Logic, Emma believes every brand deserves an audience as unique as their data and customers.

Emma holds an M.S in Applied Statistics and a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. As a Colorado native, Emma enjoys rock climbing, visiting new breweries, and quality time with her dogs.
