This summer marks a turning point in the postal industry with a series of significant changes on the horizon. We expect on July 13th, 2025, an anticipated postage increase will take effect, alongside the introduction of new promotional offerings featuring double-digit incentives. Additionally, the retirement of NDC discounts and entry will reshape the current landscape.
The Bulk Mail Center (BMC) network, established 54 years ago following the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970, has long been a cornerstone of the postal system. Since the early 1990s, mailers have been dropshipping into these centers, now known as Network Distribution Centers (NDCs). This July will mark the end of an era as these changes come to fruition.
