NEW YORK, February 15th, 2024 - Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association (HVDMA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mia Hanrahan as our new Student Ambassador, a promising student from Fordham University, known for her academic prowess in Communications, Digital Technology and Emerging Media, with a minor in Marketing.
Mia Hanrahan's role will be pivotal in HVDMA's student engagement strategies, which include highlighting the benefits of HVDMA membership, driving the use of the innovative Resume and Career Dashboards, and promoting the educational value of webinars and scholarship opportunities.

Her energy, academic background, and commitment to marketing make her the ideal person to bring HVDMA's resources to Fordham and other university students. In addition to engaging with her peers for membership recruitment and event promotion, Mia is tasked with encouraging the use of HVDMA's newly launched Resume and Career Dashboards. These platforms are critical for students to showcase their accomplishments and for employers to discover emerging talent in the marketing field.
On her new role, Mia stated, "I'm honored to become a part of HVDMA as a Student Ambassador. It’s an amazing opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world marketing experiences. I look forward to making sure my peers know just how valuable our association is in setting the stage for future success."
